It is worth mentioning that Tesla recently announced on the official website that the prices of a number of new energy vehicle products will be reduced, while the AITO M5 / M7 car will choose to give 8000 yuan of insurance.

As the competition in the new energy vehicle market becomes more and more fierce, users often wonder whether BYD is considering a price cut. In addition, it has been revealed that BYD will launch a new Han EV model, starting at a lower price.

According to China Finance, BYD staff said that the company currently does not intend to reduce prices, other brands to reduce prices due to their own orders, production capacity and other reasons, the situation is not the same.

As CTOnews.com previously reported, YD sold 217816 vehicles in October, up 142.2 per cent from a year earlier, while passenger car sales were 217518 (including 9529 exports), up 144.7 per cent from a year earlier. From January to October, BYD sold 1.4029 million new energy vehicles, an increase of 158.52 percent over the same period last year.

For comparison, BYD sold 201259 new energy vehicles in September; from January to September 2022, it sold 1180054 new energy vehicles, a cumulative increase of 249.56 percent over the same period last year.
