Officials say the product achieves a small optical axis deviation between the three eyes by developing a multi-eye calibration algorithm through self-developed trinocular bracket welding process. Since then, Ofeiguang has achieved full production coverage of 1M-8M ADAS forward-looking / look-around / week-looking / DMS / OMS and other vehicle camera product lines.

Ofeiguang developed an 8m ADAS forward-looking trinocular camera with a trinocular combination of "8M+8M+2M". Among them, the 8m long focus camera is mainly used to identify vehicles and other obstacles in front of the lane when the car is driving at high speed, and it can reserve sufficient decision-making and response time for the domain control algorithm even under the condition of high speed. When detecting anomalies ahead, ADAS domain control can timely control vehicle deceleration and prevent collision accidents, while 8m wide-angle camera is mainly used to identify traffic lights, traffic signs, road edges and roadside pedestrians. In addition, the 2m camera is mainly used for system security redundancy. When one of the 8m modules fails accidentally, the 2m module can be replaced temporarily, so that the vehicle can smoothly transition from autopilot mode to safe mode and avoid traffic accidents.

CTOnews.com learned that the mass production of 8m ADAS forward-looking trinocular cameras all use Ofi self-developed lenses. The three lenses are all glass lenses in the form of aspheric and spherical lenses, with high resolution and small temperature drift, ensuring the stable performance of the camera module in the whole life cycle and highly matching the requirements of ADAS application scenarios.
