First, AI enables 1000 languages. Earlier, Google announced a thousand languages project, which promised to build an AI model that could support 1000 of the most commonly used languages. Google currently develops a universal speech model (USM) that supports more than 400 languages, while in close cooperation with African researchers and organizations, Google recently announced the input of voice for nine other African languages on Gboard to create and publish data.

Second, the AI model makes artistic expression more diversified. Imagen is the diffusion model of video sequence; Phenaki is the model of text prompt sequence, which can generate growth and coherent video. Google shares super-resolution video generated by AI technology for the first time. At the same time, in addition to two-dimensional images, text to 3D has now become a reality.

Third, using AI technology to address climate change and health challenges. According to Google, the wildfire tracking system has been launched in parts of the United States, Canada, Mexico and Australia. Since July, it has reached more than 7 million demonstrations in Google Search and Maps, effectively helping users and firefighters understand the fire situation.

With regard to AI's response to floods caused by another extreme weather disaster, Google announced a few days ago that it would expand the coverage of its flood forecasting system to more countries in South America, sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

At the same time, Google's research team is studying how to use AI to help read and analyze the output of low-cost ultrasound equipment, thereby helping parents-to-be in resource-poor areas to detect problems early in pregnancy. In addition, the Google Health team is currently exploring how to use AI to allow users to detect breathing and heart rate through their mobile phones.
