The Energy suggestion feature is located under Settings > system > Power. On this page, Windows 11 shows how to reduce users' carbon footprint and make computers more energy efficient, including turning off the screen and going to sleep faster, setting power mode for best efficiency, disabling screen savers, and turning on dark mode. A "green score" is also provided, and the user's score for completing related tasks will be increased.

If users fully accept the "energy advice", they can click the "apply all" button, which will make the computer more environmentally friendly. This page also provides a link to supporting articles about Microsoft Edge's energy efficiency model.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first attempt to make Windows 11 greener. When the user changes the screen and sleep timer, the operating system displays a warning about increased carbon emissions, and when there is more green energy in the grid, the system tries to install available updates.
