Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen OC_Formula for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, Nov. 3, SiFive announced the release of two high-performance RISC-V processors designed to power "next-generation wearables and smart consumer devices", models P670 and P470.

According to reports, SiFive P670 and P470 support virtualization, including a separate IOMMU for accelerating the I / O of virtualized devices, and a complete unordered vector implementation based on the RISC-V Vector v1.0 specification approved last year. It is also claimed to be the first chip on the market to support new RISC-V vector encryption extensions, supporting clusters of up to 16 cores to work together.

The SiFive P670, built with 5nm technology and up to 3.4GHz frequencies, boasts higher single-threaded performance and 2x computing density than traditional solutions, including a 2x 128-bit Vector ALU compliant with the approved RISC-V Vector v1.0 specification for advanced wearable, networking, robotic and mobile devices.

The P470 is SiFive's first disordered, regional optimization, vector processor that focuses on efficiency. It is suitable for applications such as wearable devices, consumer devices and smart home devices. It also uses 5nm technology with the highest frequency up to 3.4GHz. SiFive says the P470 expands on the proven P500 series, is much smaller than competitive solutions, and is optimized for best-in-class performance efficiency and area density. The P470 can also be used with a P670 processor for applications that need to share computing resources while optimizing power consumption.

It is not clear when the SiFive P670 and P470 processors will be available, and we can look forward to it.
