CTOnews.com, Nov. 3, Google Play Games is a PC program developed by Google that enables you to play mobile games on PC. Google launched an initial beta version of the software on Windows PC earlier this year, but only in Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan. Google announced today that the testing service will be extended to the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.

CTOnews.com learned that the games currently available to Google Play Games include Air Force 1945, Blade Idle, Cookie Run: Kingdom, Evony: The King's Return and other 85 games. The application even supports synchronizing game progress between PC and mobile devices, so players can continue to play on different platforms.

"We are pleased to expand our platform to more markets so that players can enjoy their favorite games on Google Play," said Google Play Game Director Arjun Dayal. "as we move towards a full release, we will continue to add new features and evaluate feedback from developers and players."

Google Play Games is different from what Microsoft has been doing to introduce Android apps to Windows 11. Microsoft has partnered with Amazon to provide games and applications from Amazon Appstore in its latest Windows 11 operating system. Microsoft built a low-level Windows subsystem for Android in Windows 11, but Google created its own separate app to bring its Google Play Android games to PC.
