CTOnews.com, November 2, according to the three Gorges Group, recently, with the accurate docking of the last wind turbine impeller and generator, the three Gorges Group has completed the hoisting of all turbines in Lu's first offshore wind power project. The project is a test and demonstration project for the integration of marine pastures and three Gorges offshore wind power in Changyi City, Shandong Province (referred to as the Changyi Project). The successful completion of the hoisting has laid a solid foundation for full capacity grid connection this year.

The Changyi project is located in the northern sea area of Changyi City, Weifang, Shandong Province, with a planned capacity of 300 megawatts and 50 6 megawatt wind turbines. After it is put into production, the annual online electricity is about 940 million kilowatt-hours, which is equivalent to saving about 290000 tons of standard coal every year.

In the next step, the Changyi project will make every effort to promote the follow-up construction work and launch a sprint for full capacity grid connection during the year.
