There are two main reasons for this, one is that traditional car companies have inherent advantages in production capacity and sales network, and perhaps more important is that the price of new energy vehicles in traditional car companies is more approachable.
For example, the prices of Ean's main selling models, AION S Plus and AION Y Plus, are between 15 and 200000 yuan, while BYD's most popular models, such as Yuan PLUS, Song PLUS and Dolphin, are mainly priced in this range. And in the new power brand, which is the highest-selling car, the prices of the two models currently on sale are concentrated in the range of 8-160000 yuan.
In contrast, the prices of other new power brand models are basically more than 200000 yuan, while the prices of more models are mainly concentrated in about 30-400000 yuan, which is indeed a bit high for many ordinary consumers. at present, the smart driving of the new power brand models is still very limited in the domestic application scene, and most consumers are not willing to pay for it.
In October, the new energy vehicle market is flat and subsidized backslope sales are expected to rebound at the end of the year.
