In the past few hours, many netizens have reported that they are unable to access iCloud Mail email, and DownDetector has received hundreds of reports of problems related to iCloud, which confirms that the failure is widespread.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple said its iCloud email service might be "slow or unavailable", but other iCloud services were not currently affected.
