CTOnews.com learned that in the third quarter of 2022, vivo (including iQOO) secured the No. 1 position with a market share of 19.9%, and the brand released more new smartphones than other OEM in the quarter. OPPO (including OnePlus) came in second with 18 per cent, while HONOR ranked third with 17.2 per cent. Apple's share is 15.3%, Xiaomi's share is 13.0%, Huawei's share is 9.1%, and the share of other phones is 2.5%.

The inventory situation of major OEM manufacturers has improved significantly after the summer promotion. Commenting on the competitive landscape, research analyst Mengmeng Zhang said: "in the third quarter of 2022, vivo, OPPO and HONOR are still the top three smartphone OEM in China.
