01, the subject is missing. I believe that when you are learning composition, you must have heard of a rule that the subject is outstanding. To achieve this, first of all, there must be a subject, and then the subject should be obvious.

The main body is the element that we want to shoot. For example, if you see the moon is beautiful, then the moon is the subject; if you see a flower that looks good, then the flower is the subject.

With a clear subject, we can think about the composition around the subject, and then take a good-looking picture. If there is no subject, it is difficult for photographers to say what they want to take, and the photos will lack appeal.

For example, the following photo, is a typical lack of subject, the audience does not know where to focus when looking at the photo.

02, lack of visual interest points, visual interest points can be understood as the elements that can attract your attention when you look at photos, and it is the foothold of your line of sight. In some photos, the subject is often the point of interest, but the elements outside the subject can also be the point of interest.

For example, when we look at the pictures below, our eyes will be attracted by the stones in the foreground, the trees in the distance, and the sunlight in the distance, and there are points of interest to be appreciated from near to far.

If there is a lack of visual interest, the photo will look very empty, even some empty, always feel almost interesting.

For example, the photo below shows an open lake, but when you look at the picture, you always feel that there is something missing and an element that can strongly attract you to stay and watch.

We have to be flexible when taking photos. There is no need to cut corners and not stop until we find a point of interest. There are also some photos, the overall scenery is very beautiful, the overall situation can be regarded as a subject, the whole is a point of interest.

03. When taking random photos, you only care about the subject you want to shoot, but ignore whether the background looks good or not. When composing a picture, a qualified photographer is sure to see if the background is appropriate.

If the background is too messy, it will interfere with the beauty of the photo. The edges and corners of the photo are also areas that need to be paid attention to. Don't take pictures of unwanted elements.

For example, in the following photo, the subject is a flower, but the large white in the background obviously interferes with the performance of the subject, and the background is not beautiful enough.

04. Inappropriate prospects in addition to the background, the foreground is also something to pay attention to. Generally speaking, only those who have studied photography will have a sense of prospect and think of finding a foreground to make it look better when composing a picture.

But the prospect must be appropriate to add, for fear of finding some inappropriate prospects, affecting the performance of the subject, so that the photo appears disorganized, that is, icing on the cake.

In fact, the background and foreground belong to the secondary elements of the photo, the secondary elements must be related to the theme of the photo, and can not interfere with the overall beauty. If you are drawing a picture, will you draw something irrelevant and messy for no reason?

The blank area in the unreasonable blank photo also needs to be reasonably arranged to properly deal with the relationship between the blank space and the elements. Common mistakes include leaving too many blanks, causing the theme to look very small. There is too little white space, which makes the photos appear crowded. The blank position is not appropriate, resulting in an imbalance of the center of gravity.

If there is a moving object in the photo, be sure to leave some space in front of it, otherwise there will be a sense of "facing the wall". When shooting panoramic characters, there should be a reasonable blank above the sky, so as not to let people stand upright.
