HTC's revenue in the third quarter was 1.08 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 245 million yuan), up 7% from a month earlier, down 19.9% from a year earlier, and its operating margin rose to 39.4% from 39.2% in the second quarter. Operating net loss of 1.14 billion yuan per quarter, operating profit rate of-105.3% The net loss attributed to the owner of the parent company was 980 million New Taiwan dollars (about 222 million yuan), or 1.19 yuan per share, the lowest in nearly six quarters.

In the VR product segment, HTC launched a new VIVE Focus 3 "Eye tracking Suite" and "facial expression Detection Suite" in the third quarter, as well as a live application suite (Location Based Software Suite,LBSS) to enhance the reality of interpersonal interaction in the virtual world for the VR all-in-one machine.

CTOnews.com learned that Huang Zhaoying, global vice president and general manager of HTC, said recently that with the increasing improvement of technology and the emergence of more and more applications, the current number of hardware has reached 10 million, and the VR industry is expected to enter a period of golden growth in the next three years.
