According to news in the morning of November 1, Beijing time, Musk has reportedly transferred more than 50 Tesla employees, most of them software engineers, to participate in the Twitter acquisition.

Internal records show that employees from other Musk companies have been authorized to work on Twitter, including more than 50 Tesla employees, two Boring employees and one Neuralink employee.

Not only that, Musk's friends, advisers and supporters are also involved, such as Musk's home office director Jared Burchard (Jared Birchall), angel investor Jason Calacanis, PayPal founder COO and investor David Sachs (David Sacks). James Musk, who works at Palantir, and Andrew Musk, who works at Neuralink, are also involved.

There are many Tesla employees involved in the takeover, to name a few: Ashok Eluswamy, director of software development, Milan Kovic (Milan Kovac), director of Autopilot Software and TeslaBot Engineering, Maha Virduhagiri, senior director of software engineering, Pete Scheutzow, senior technical project manager of employees, and Jack Jake Nocon, who works in Tesla's intelligence, security and surveillance department.

Musk wants loyal aides to determine which Twitter employees should be laid off and which should stay. Musk also asked them to learn everything about Twitter as quickly as possible, from source code, content review and data privacy requirements, so that the push platform could be redesigned.

In addition, Musk filed a revised 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), saying he would serve as Twitter's CEO after the acquisition. But he later responded that acting alone as Twitter CEO was "only a temporary arrangement".

Although Musk has been advocating freedom of speech, such claims should also be in line with legal and commercial realities. How do the assigned Tesla employees allocate time between Tesla and Twitter? It's not clear yet.

According to past practice, Tesla employees tend to be paid as consultants when they work for other Musk companies. Sometimes an employee of one company holds a position in another company. For example, Charles Coyman (Charlie Kuehmann), vice president of materials for Tesla, is also vice president of SpaceX.

Some Tesla employees revealed that some Tesla employees were asked by their superiors to help other companies complete some projects but were not paid, because it was good for their career development, or because help was implicated in related transactions or projects.

Some Twitter employees have revealed that Tesla employees are reviewing Twitter code, although their skills mainly point to Autopilot and other Tesla software and hardware, and do not overlap with building languages and systems to maintain social networks. For example, most engineers in automobile companies have no experience in designing and operating search engines and platforms, even engineer Tesla.

Twitter has multiple code bases, each with millions of lines of code, and later the system's QPS (query rate per second) reached 10 or even 100. The language used by Tesla is mainly Python, while Twitter mostly uses Scala.
