CTOnews.com learned that the intercity railway from Huaibei to Suzhou to Bengbu is located in the north of Anhui Province, with a total length of 161km and a design speed of 350km per hour. There are six stations along the route: Huaibei, Huaibei West, Suzhou West, Shuangduiji, Guzhen Nan and Bengbu South Station, among which Huaibei North Station and Bengbu South Station are existing stations.

The beam erection construction of Bengbu North Bridge is the first beam erection construction of the whole Huai-Su-Bang inter-city railway. The bridge, with a total length of 24.3 kilometers, crosses the Beijing-Shanghai Railway and the Huaihong New River. it is one of the key projects of the Huai-Su-Bang inter-city railway.
