As the Mengtian experimental module is launched into orbit, rendezvous and docking with the Tianhe core module and complete transposition, the Chinese space station will form the basic configuration of the third module "T". At that time, the construction of the Chinese space station will be completed with the Tianhe core module, the Tiantian experimental module and the Mengtian experimental module as the basic configuration, and the three modules will be completed.

The data show that the Mengtian experimental module is mainly oriented to microgravity science research, and is equipped with experimental cabinets with multi-disciplinary directions, such as fluid physics, material science, and so on. It supports the research on the essential laws of material solidification mechanism under the cover of gravity, ultra-cold atomic physics and other cutting-edge experimental research.
