CTOnews.com October 31 news, recently, Beijing Aiqiyi Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Fast Hand Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Dajia Internet Information Technology Co., Ltd. infringement of works information network dissemination rights dispute two documents open.

According to the documents, the plaintiff iQiyi claims that there are a large number of infringing video clips about TV series "Nirvana List" and "Old Nine Gates" in the Fast Hand App, which diverts the viewing users of iQiyi platform and seriously infringes on the plaintiff's legitimate rights and interests. Defendant Fast Hand argued that the accused infringing video was uploaded by the user himself, and that it did not edit the video content and did not commit infringement; Defendant Dajia argued that it was not the operator of Fast Hand App, and the Defendant subject was not eligible.

The court heard that the civil tort liability that may arise from the Short Video involved in the case of Fast Hand App shall be borne only by the operator Fast Hand Company; Fast Hand Company has subjective fault, which helps the information network dissemination of the infringed video; Fast Hand Company has not deleted the infringing works after multiple notices from iQiyi Company, and there is subjective fault. Finally, the court ruled that Fast Hand Company compensated Aiqiyi Company for economic losses and reasonable expenses totaling more than 2.18 million yuan.
