Some users said that when they installed version 526.47 or earlier Nvidia drivers, the task manager in Windows 11 22H2 did not display the correct GPU usage. According to users, this problem caused the task manager to show that the GPU utilization rate reached 100%, but the power utilization rate was very low.

Now Nvidia officials have responded, saying this is a known problem and repair measures are under way.

In addition, a related error also affects the 3D reading of Nvidia GPU. As the screenshot above shows, the task manager's 3D reading of GPU is not accurate and does not reflect actual or reported usage.

It is worth noting that the actual resource usage is not affected by the incorrect display of the task manager, so this is not a big problem.

CTOnews.com has learned that according to a spokesman for Nvidia, the company is planning to resolve this 100% GPU usage issue of Windows 11 soon, and speculates that a fix should be released in the next beta version of the GeForce driver, followed by a stable version, and the update should come in November.
