CTOnews.com, Oct. 31, according to Strategy Analytics, global tablet shipments fell 16% to 38.2 million units in the third quarter of 2022.

Among them, Samsung and Amazon ranked at the top with lower declines. Samsung's Q3 shipments were better than expected, down only 4% from a year earlier; Amazon also performed relatively well due to the Prime Day promotion and updated 7-inch product portfolio, with shipments falling only 5% to 3.7 million; in addition, Apple's shipments fell 14% to 14.9 million, but its market share remained in first place at 39%. Lenovo's shipments fell 37% to 2.7 million, with a market share of 7%.

CTOnews.com learned that although Huawei's shipments fell 33% from a year earlier, its market share remained in the top five in the tablet market, with 1.3 million units shipped in the third quarter.
