CTOnews.com October 31 news, BOE An announced yesterday that the company's holding subsidiary Beijing BOE Chuangyuan Technology Co., Ltd. plans to invest in the construction of the sixth generation semiconductor display device production line project using LTPO technology in the Beijing Economic and technological Development Zone, focusing on the layout of the VR display product market, further enriching the company's product structure, and consolidating the company's leading position in the semiconductor display industry.

According to the announcement, the project is about 630mu, with a total construction area of 608924 square meters, mainly producing VR display panels, MiniLED direct display backboards and other high-end display products. The construction period of the project is from 2023 to 2025, with mass production in 2025 and full production in 2026, with a total investment of 29 billion yuan.

CTOnews.com learned that BOE Technology Group also released the latest results. In the third quarter, BOE's revenue was 41.134 billion yuan, down 26.79% from the same period last year, while its mother's net profit lost 1.305 billion yuan, down 118.01% from the same period last year. In the first three quarters of 2022, BOE's revenue was 132.744 billion yuan, down 19.45% from the same period last year, while its net profit was 5.291 billion yuan, down 73.75% from the same period last year.
