The maximum brightness when displaying HDR content has been increased, but it is not clear to what extent. As early as August, there was some controversy about the maximum brightness of the display screen, which was officially claimed to be 1200 nits, but users found that the peak had never been reached.

Nothing has never clarified that hardware can achieve this level, but in order to achieve a balanced user experience in terms of heat and battery consumption, screen brightness is limited to 700 nits in software. At present, this limit has been removed or at least raised to some extent.
