Although the phone looks more like a flagship model, 9to5Google thinks it is the Pixel 7a because it has a camera arrangement similar to the "Lynx", which is rumored to be the code name for the next generation of Pixel A-series devices.

In terms of fuselage, Google Pixel 7a may usher in a major upgrade. It is said that the Pixel 7a is expected to have a ceramic fuselage, while Pixel 6a and previous models can only use plastic back panels (Pixel 5a is aluminum).

In addition, there is news that the next generation of devices will support wireless charging, which is not common in very cheap Android phones such as the Pixel A series.

It is said that the Pixel 7a will also be equipped with flagship cameras, including Samsung GN1 sensors, which are the same as the 50MP sensors on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

In addition, the phone is expected to feature a Sony IMX787 telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle IMX712. For the front camera, the device is expected to be equipped with IMX712 sensors.

Normally, the above specifications are only available on Google's flagship phones, so these revelations make us wonder whether the Google Pixel 7a will still be as "cheap" as previous models.

In early October, Google announced the launch of the latest generation of flagship smartphones, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, with very powerful and interesting imaging features, but these two phones seem to lack other aspects, especially processor performance.

Later, reviewers found that the gaming performance of Tensor G2 was indeed weak, and Google Pixel 7 Pro was not as effective as Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, so many netizens thought the processor should be used on mid-range phones rather than flagship phones.

According to Google, the performance of the second-generation Tensor G2 is slightly better than that of the previous generation. It is built on the basis of 4nm process and is designed in 2-2-4 cluster. It includes machine learning Tensor processing unit (TPU) and Titan M2 security coprocessor.

The chip is 60% faster than previous models. Thanks to the new machine learning ability, Pixel is better at voice commands, photography and so on.

The actual measurement of Google Pixel 7 Pro "original God" is disappointing: Tensor G2 can be called Exynos2100 skinning, not as good as Snapdragon 870.
