Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, Oct. 30, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said today that Apple does not plan to announce any new Mac products for the rest of the year, and all planned releases are expected to take place in the first quarter of 2023, including updated versions of MacBook Pro, Mac mini and Mac Pro.

Gurman wrote in its latest Power On newsletter that Apple has decided to wait until next year to announce a new Mac, including the rumored November MacBook Pro. "I was told that Apple's goal is to launch upgraded models in the first quarter of 2023-including 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro versions based on M2 series chips."

In Apple's latest earnings call, Apple CEO Tim Cook said Apple's "product lineup has been established" before the holiday, which may imply that there will be no new products this year as Apple prepares for the holiday season. Apple CFO Luca Mestri provided more decisive confirmation, saying, "We have a very challenging comparison compared to last year, thanks to the launch of our newly designed M1 chip version of MacBook Pro and related channel filling."

CTOnews.com learned that, as previously reported, Apple continued to test an Apple Silicon Mac Pro with 24 CPU cores (16 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores), 76 graphics cores and 192GB memory. The new Mac Pro is expected to use "M2 Ultra" and "M2 Extreme" chips, with at least twice or four times the performance of M2 Max chips, and is expected to be released with the new MacBook Pro next year.

"it is reported that the release of Apple M2 Pro / Max MacBook Pro 14ax 16 inch has been postponed to early 2023."
