01. Add Chart Click Insert-Chart, then OK

When a chart is inserted, the default effect is as follows:

02. Select Data Select the chart, click the Chart Design tab, and select Data:

The following function box will pop up:

First enter the text "Series 4, Series 5, Series 6" on the right side of the first row of Excel table

At this time, the series in the "Select Data" function box has automatically added 3 columns:

If you haven't added it, you can click the "Add" function to manually add:

With the series name selected, add a series value to each column:

At this point, the selection range in Excel is as follows:

03. Change Type Select the chart and click on Chart Design-Change Chart Type

There are 6 charts in total. Modify the chart types in turn as shown in the following figure:

When the changes are complete, the effect is as follows:

04. Modify abscissa axes for a total of 6 series of 35 rows each.

Look at the picture above. There are 7 columns in total, 35 / 7 = 5, 5 rows per column.

In Excel, column A can be entered as follows:

Fill in "1995" and "2020" at the beginning and end of every five rows respectively, and leave the three spaces in the middle blank.

05. The first three columns of Excel data are area charts, and the completed effects are as follows:

Every five is a group, and the abscissa corresponding to the first and last are "1995" and "2020" respectively.

First fix the values for each of "1995" and "2020":

For example, in group 1, we enter "37" and "14" respectively

The three spaces in the middle use the following formulas:

The values for the area plots of series 2 and 3 are also entered by:

One point to emphasize is that series 1, 2 and 3 add up to 100 in each row.

Series 1 and 3 are the same color, Series 2 is darker:

06. The function of making a bar chart is to divide the area chart into 7 parts:

Follow the example below and enter 100 in the corresponding position of series 4.

After the input is completed, the PPT chart effect is as follows:

In the chart, there is actually a layer order, and the fourth column is higher than the first three columns, which means that the column chart can hide the area chart.

Next we modify the cylinder color, double-click to select the first cylinder, set the gradient, aperture color and background can be the same:

After the first gradient is completed, click on the right column of each column area chart in turn, and change the fill mode to gradient, which will automatically continue the gradient just set:

Then click on the blue column filled with solid color in column 1 of the above image to set the gradient, which is exactly the opposite of the gradient aperture setting just now:

Continue to set the remaining column colors:

Look at the original, the last set of bars is darker.

How to modify it specifically?

The gradient parameters of this column need to be modified separately:

Set the color of the remaining columns: #F7F9FA, transparency: 55%

07. Make a line chart and then look at the last step: add a line chart

The first is the number in Excel, series 5 = series 1, series 6 = series 2

Change the colors of the polygraph and remove vertex markers.

Double-click to select the empty part in the middle, and the line will be changed to no filling:

The rest of the gap lines are modified:

There are two ways to add dots at the ends of a line.

Arrow that comes with the line; make an extra circle, copy and paste it or change the mark to a circle.

Type 1, circles aligned centrally with lines, not misaligned:

The second type is fast, but it may be misaligned.

08. Optimize diagram details Now that the diagram is almost complete, all that remains are small parts.

1. ordinate axis, maximum modified to 100

2. Legend, select the chart, click "+", add legend

If you only want series 5 and series 6, you can select other series legends and right-click to delete them:

3. Data label, select the chart first, then add the text box, enter the text:

The advantage of this is that text boxes and diagrams can be combined into one whole.

Next comes the alignment problem, centering the text box and widening it to the left and right like a histogram:

Hold down Ctrl + Shift to copy several text boxes in parallel and modify the text content:
