At the construction site of the Hanpoling Bridge on the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway in Luzhou, Sichuan, a giant T-beam successfully crossed the existing Longhuang railway after nearly two hours of air docking. The Hanpoling double-line Bridge of Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway is located in Longmatan District, Luzhou, with a total length of 3266.8 meters.

CTOnews.com learned that the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway is an important part of the Beijing-Kunming channel, one of the main channels of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railways in China. The line starts from the Chongqing West Railway Station, passes through Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces, and connects to Kunming South Railway Station with a total length of 699km. A total of 21 stations are planned to set up, with a target passenger train speed of 350km / h.

The railway department said that after the completion of the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway project, it can greatly improve the backward transport infrastructure along the line and effectively shorten the space-time distance between the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration and the central Yunnan urban agglomeration.
