Six of them are basically confirmed to be built, and the other two are option orders.

Data show that in September 2022, BYD sold 201259 new energy vehicles; overseas sales of new energy passenger vehicles totaled 7736. In addition, BYD sold a total of 1180054 new energy vehicles from January to September 2022, an increase of 249.56 percent over the same period last year.

CTOnews.com has learned that BYD has said that its new energy vehicles operate in 6 continents, more than 70 countries and regions, and more than 400 cities around the world. In addition, BYD made its debut in Europe this month with the product matrix of new energy passenger cars, which is expected to be sold and delivered in Europe in the fourth quarter of this year.

Earlier this month, BYD announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with global car rental company SIXT. According to the agreement, SIXT will purchase at least 100000 new energy vehicles from BYD in the next six years. A number of BYD new energy vehicles will serve SIXT customers, including the newly launched meta PLUS in Europe. Delivery of vehicles will begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
