The China Aerospace Science and Technology Group said that the Chang Erding rocket is an ordinary temperature liquid two-stage carrier rocket developed by the eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd., with a take-off thrust of about 300 tons, corresponding to a 700 km sun synchronous orbit carrying capacity of 1.3 tons. It has the ability to launch single and multi-satellite with different orbital requirements in the three major satellite launch centers of Jiuquan, Xichang and Taiyuan.

According to reports, the orbit requirements of this mission are high and the weight of the satellite is heavy. The Chang Erding rocket carried out multi-wheel simulation tests on the trajectory design and double-checked the landing area to minimize the scope of the landing area.
