According to reports, in the first three quarters of this year, China Unicom's service revenue reached RMB 239.654 billion yuan, up 7.8% from the same period last year. Profit attributable to equity holders of the Company was RMB15, 667 million, representing an increase of 21.2% as compared with the same period last year. The absolute value of operating revenue and profit attributable to equity holders of the Company reached the highest level in the same period since the listing.

In addition, Unicom's Internet business realized revenue of RMB 53.15 billion yuan, a significant increase of 29.9% year-on-year, accounting for 22.2% of service revenue. EBITDA1 was RMB76.735 billion, up 1.9% from the same period last year.

Up to now, China Unicom's 5G plan subscribers have reached 201 million, and the Group's mobile service revenue has reached RMB127.356 billion, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year. Fixed network broadband access revenue increased by 3.9% year-on-year to RMB34.642 billion; the number of IoT terminal connections reached 366 million, and IoT business revenue reached RMB6.168 billion, an increase of 35.6% year-on-year.

In addition, China Unicom's "big connection" users have reached 841,584 million, and Internet of Things terminal connections have reached 366,126 million.

As of September 2022, the cumulative number of authorized patents of China Unicom reached 1366 this year. The problem solving rate of intelligent customer service in September was 98.1%, and the proportion of intelligent customer service in September was 79.2%.
