Appearance and design

The workmanship of the shell of the Redmi Pad surprised me a little. MediaTek Helio G99 is a new 4G mobile processor released in May this year, which is based on TSMC's 6nm process. First of all, 90Hz refresh rate with MIUI13, the overall operation experience is very smooth. I remember that when the first version of MIUI for Pad 13 was released, the update log mentioned optimization for 3000 + applications, and it did work here. According to this logic, the outbound Dock bar and the up-slide gesture can only be chosen from one of the two, otherwise it will be mistakenly touched.

After exiting the Dock bar, users will also switch common applications, small windows, split screens and other operations, diluting the priority of outbound multitasking operations. And the small horizontal bar and the auxiliary touch bar area support left and right horizontal stroke to switch App, this operation is still very easy to use on the tablet.

For example, the App that was previously opened without horizontal UI adaptation, but can be opened horizontally, before the first-level page enters the parallel horizon, the filling background part of the left and right region does not support touch operation, but now the background part can also scroll up and down App content, which makes the operation more efficient.

In addition, the way of exhaling the small window was a little more complicated, but now MIUI for Pad can directly drag the icon on the Dock bar in the application interface to open the small window, that is, the free window function. MIUI also adapts to many mainstream App infinite window zoom function, in the App full-screen display state through the left, lower right corner oblique upward stroke, you can adjust a number of different sizes and sizes of small window display, switching animation transition is very natural, efficiency and practicality are very high.

Unfortunately, Redmi Pad does not devolve the Xiaomi Miaoxing feature, and users who already own Xiaomi and Hongmi phones are temporarily unable to experience the complete interaction between the phone and the tablet. I hope the official will add it in the follow-up update.
