In the later stage of photography, modern computer technology can be used for fine processing of the image. If there are deficiencies in exposure and color during the early shooting, they can be repaired to a certain extent, and at the same time, the late technology can be used to shape the characteristics.

In today's tutorial, share the later steps of this landscape photo.

I intend to mold this photo into a turquoise style, which is somewhat similar to the feeling of landscape painting. The color should not be too much, mainly focused on green and cyan, which is very suitable for the performance of landscapes. There are three overlapping hills in the picture, which can be properly separated to make the levels of the mountains more distinct.

First of all, open it in Camera RAW or Lr, the first step is to correct the lens, check delete chromatic aberration and enable profile correction, and select the corresponding file, which can eliminate the hardening and halo caused by lens problems.

↑ then adjusts the overall tone, the color temperature to the left, the color temperature of the original image is 5300, the tone is 20, all shift to the left, the color temperature is adjusted to 5800, and the tone is adjusted to 1 to make the photo slightly blue as a whole.

Then adjust the exposure, the original picture is a little gray, lack of contrast and transparency. Reduce the highlights, brighten the shadows, increase the contrast, and add the "remove haze" slider, which is useful for grayed images.

Add a little more saturation, strengthen the overall color, and the basic color and exposure adjustments are complete.

↑ in the curve panel, pull a small S-shaped curve to further increase the contrast of the photo.

After these two steps of adjustment, the photo has initially had the expected appearance, as shown in the following picture.

Next, you need to fine-tune the color, first in the separate tone interface to set the overall color of the photo. Add a little green in the highlights and a little orange in the shadows.

Then adjust the HSL panel, mainly for yellow and green to do a fine-tuning, the specific parameters are as follows.

After the ACR adjustment, the appearance of the photo is closer to the expected effect, and the picture below is what the adjustment looks like.

Then it is imported into PS for further refinement, mainly sub-regional adjustment.

The bridge in the original image is a little dark, create a new curve adjustment layer, pull up the curve to brighten the exposure, and use a mask to make the curve affect only the bridge.

The mountain in the distance lacks a sense of hierarchy, so now we have a hierarchical separation operation on it.

First, select the nearest mountain with the appropriate selection tool, and daub it below with the dodge tool to brighten it so that it is close to white. Then use the Burn tool to smear the top to reduce its brightness. The rest of the mountain is operated in the same way, which requires patience and carefulness.

At that time, the color difference of the display was a little large, and I forgot to correct it. I found that the photo was a little green and not fairy enough, so I used the tools of color saturation and color balance to make further subtle adjustments to the color of the photo.

Finally, sharpening and noise reduction are processed, and the adjustment is completed.
