CTOnews.com October 27 news, Intel's self-driving subsidiary Mobileye officially landed on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange yesterday. As of today's close, Mobileye had a total market capitalization of $23 billion (about 165.14 billion yuan).

After the company returned to the US stock market, Mobileye CEO Amnon Shashua issued an open letter saying that Mobileye's re-listing would be stronger and more valuable than before. Over the past five years, Mobileye has continued to evolve, evolve, and deliver the driving assistance technologies needed in the market, ranging from today's popular security applications to fully autonomous driving solutions for the future.

Data show that since the first EyeQ chip was shipped, more than 800 models and more than 125 million cars have been equipped with Mobileye technology.

CTOnews.com learned that Amnon Shashua pointed out that during its five years as a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel, Mobileye accelerated the pace of business development and was well prepared for the next new journey. Over the past five years, Mobileye has successfully developed and delivered the advanced core platform technologies needed for the Advanced driving Assistance system (ADAS): road Network Information Management (REM) self-driving vehicle mapping technology, driving strategy based on responsibility sensitive safety model (RSS), true redundancy (True Redundancy) sensor system, and multi-generation advanced EyeQ system integration chip (self-defined software and hardware solution).

However, Amnon Shashua says this is not a whole new field for Mobileye because it has been operating independently before and during Intel-raising its own research and development funds and transforming itself from a technology provider into a driver of travel services. "I firmly believe that after we go public again, we will continue to grow and grow."
