CTOnews.com, October 27 (Xinhua)-- the new BYD EV model is equipped with a front single motor, and the maximum power has been reduced from the current standard deluxe version (entry-level model) to 150kW, according to the online declaration of the new BYD EV model.

CTOnews.com learned that in addition to the reduction in motor power, the new Han EV also adjusted the standard electric clip-proof panoramic skylight in the entry-level version to optional, and the 19-inch standard wheel hub to 18 inches. In terms of appearance design, there is no essential change in the new BYD Han EV model, with a length, width and height of 4995 mm and a wheelbase of 2920 mm respectively.

The new BYD EV is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) model TZ200XSQ, with a maximum power of 150kW and a rated power of 65kW. In addition, the quality of the new model is lower than that of the Adihan EV, so the battery capacity is not expected to exceed that of the cash standard model. As a reference, the single-motor front-drive model currently on sale has a power of 180kW, a torque of 350Nm and a pure electric mileage of 715km for CLTC.
