CTOnews.com news on October 27, after landing in Thailand and Malaysia, Great Wall Motor and SQ Group Huihong Motor held a signing ceremony in Manila, Philippines yesterday, formally reached a partnership to jointly develop the Philippine market. According to the agreement, the two sides will jointly explore channel construction and service models around the characteristics of the Philippine automobile market.

The Philippine official of Great Wall Automobile said that it will continue the product category focus strategy, lay out advantageous categories and flagship models such as SUV and pickup trucks in the Philippines in the future, and launch a product matrix that covers a variety of energy power and has high intelligence.

In February this year, Great Wall issued the ASEAN strategy, which plans to gradually start the regular operation of Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore and other markets on the basis of the operation of the markets in Thailand, Brunei and Laos, so as to form the strategic layout of the ASEAN market and accelerate the landing of the globalization strategy of Great Wall Motor 2025.

CTOnews.com has learned that Great Wall says it has built a complete matrix of new energy products for HEV, PHEV and BEV in the Thai market. In July this year, Great Wall officially established a Malaysian subsidiary.
