Apple said that to create a Wi-Fi 6e network, users need to use a Wi-Fi 6e router and enable its 2.4GHz or 5GHz band. For best Wi-Fi performance, Apple recommends using a single network name on the router's 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. Otherwise, iPad Pro will identify the network as "limited compatibility" and Apple warns that "the overall experience of some activities through the network may not live up to expectations."

If users encounter any problems using the Wi-Fi 6e network, Apple said it can turn off the Wi-Fi 6e mode of the network, and iPad Pro will no longer use the 6GHz band of the network. To turn off Wi-Fi 6e mode, you can open the settings application, click Wi-Fi, click the connected network name, click Wi-Fi 6e mode and close it. However, Apple says this setting appears only on Wi-Fi 6e networks where all bands use a single network name.
