As an important part of the communication power supply, the battery uses its own stored electricity to maintain the normal operation of the communication equipment when there is a power outage in the computer room. Excessive discharge will affect the life of the battery. In order to reduce the damage to the battery caused by excessive discharge, we can try scientific "power-down".

1. What is "power-off"? "power-off" means that when the city power (that is, the power frequency 220V AC power) is cut off, the discharge of the battery reaches a certain depth, the DC voltage of the system is lower than a certain threshold, and the load DC contactor is disconnected. the function of cutting off part or all of the load (that is, communication equipment) where the power supply circuit is located.

2. Why should the battery be "powered down"? after reading it, you will understand! In order to protect the battery during discharge, prolong the working time of the important load, and increase the "power off" function, the DC contactor is used to disconnect the battery from the non-important business load.

3. Do you know all these methods to "power down" the battery? After years of development, communication power supply has developed a series of power-off protection functions.

Load once power down: the energy of the battery is not enough to power off the relatively unimportant load. Since it is the first time to open the circuit, it is called a power down.

Secondary power-off of the load: after the first power-off, the battery continues to power the important load. As the city power has not been restored, when the discharge is close to the deep warning line of the battery, the power supply circuit of the important load will be disconnected in order to protect the battery.

Battery power down: the last step of the power down action. When the discharge of the battery is close to the set low threshold, disconnect the power supply circuit between all loads of the battery.

In the actual work, according to the configuration of the power system, the CSU (centralized system management unit, which is used to manage the internal components of the communication power supply) the control system gradually carries out the scenarios of [primary load power down-> load secondary power down-> battery power down], and the following two operations are usually carried out.

If the battery power-down is configured (no load secondary power-off), the CSU control system only carries out the operation of "load power-down-> battery power-down] step by step.

If the load is configured for secondary power-down (no battery power-off), the CSU control system will only gradually carry out the operation of "load power-off-> load power-down].

4. The battery should be "powered down". N modes let you "up" to detect that "battery voltage" is not the only power-down condition. In fact, we have other "power-down" modes: "battery remaining capacity" and "power outage time".

Take "load once power down" as an example:
