At the ceremony, Wentai Technology Sun Company Anshi Semiconductor (China) Co., Ltd. and the people's Government of Huangjiang Town, Dongguan City, signed the Investment Agreement for the expansion Project of the sealing and testing Plant of Anshi Semiconductor (China) Co., Ltd.

CTOnews.com learned that the investment project is an Anshi Semiconductor (China) Co., Ltd. closure plant expansion project, the total investment of the project is about 3 billion yuan, engaged in the industry, including but not limited to discrete devices, analog & logic ICs, power MOSFETs.

Wentai Technology said that Anshi Semiconductor Dongguan closed Test Plant is the world's largest small-signal assembly factory, with an annual output of more than 50 billion pieces, supporting high-and medium-power SMD packages as well as DFN packages and other wafer-level packaging products.

According to reports, Anshi Semiconductor is a manufacturer of discrete devices, logic devices and MOSFET devices, headquartered in Nijmegen in the Netherlands, wafer manufacturing plants in Germany and the United Kingdom, and packaging and testing plants in Dongguan, China, Kabuyao in the Philippines and Furong in Malaysia.

In addition, Wentai Technology said that this expansion project is conducive to meeting the needs of Wentai Technology semiconductor business capacity layout, and after the project is put into production, it can effectively supplement the existing semiconductor business capacity, help to enhance the scale advantage of semiconductor products, and improve the company's long-term core competitiveness and sustainable profitability.
