The relevant departments announced in December 2017 that the policy of exemption from purchase tax would be extended to the end of 2020. In 2020, the policy of exemption from purchase tax for new energy vehicles was extended for the second time to the end of 2022. This year, the policy of exemption from purchase tax for new energy vehicles has been extended again to the end of 2023.
