The successful maiden double-tailed scorpion D is a new support product developed on the basis of the star product of Tengdun science and technology, the double-tailed scorpion series UAV platform. it is the world's first large-scale four-engine, multi-purpose, hollow long-flight fixed-wing UAV system. The aircraft has a wingspan of 20 meters, a length of 10.5 meters, a height of 3.1 meters, a maximum takeoff weight of 4.35 tons, a maximum deadweight of 1.5 tons and a maximum loading space of 5 cubic meters.

12:23 on the same day, at Zigong Fengming General Airport, a large four-engine UAV codenamed "double-tailed Scorpion D" independently entered the runway and lifted off smoothly. After 18 minutes of flight, it landed smoothly at 12:41 without trouble. The first flight of the world's first large-scale four-engine UAV was successfully completed.

With the configuration of four engines and generators, double-tailed Scorpion D maintains the existing advantages of double-tailed Scorpion series UAVs. It has larger loading space, heavier loading capacity, stronger power support, higher system reliability, flight safety, can carry more high-performance mission loads, and perform support tasks such as freight logistics, aviation broadcasting, mission load use, and so on.
