Shanghai Jiading official said that the project signed this time will take advantage of the technology and R & D advantages that Weilai has accumulated in the field of new energy vehicles over the years, and plans to build an international business headquarters in Jiangqiao Town, which integrates the full-function layout of research and development, office, exhibition hall and so on. It is the foothold of international business such as the export of Weilai vehicles. CTOnews.com learned that when the project is completed, it will bring in 10000 high-end talents, with about 2000 new employees, of whom college (or vocational high) or above accounts for about 90 per cent.

At the beginning of this month, Xilai announced to enter the markets of Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden as a "subscription model", offering ET7, EL7 (ES7) and ET5 models with a subscription period ranging from one month to 60 months. On November 21, it will add a buyout model for ET7, EL7 and ET5 in the German, Dutch, Danish and Swedish markets in addition to the subscription model, and start delivery at the beginning of 2023.
