CTOnews.com, Oct. 25, according to information shared by MacRumors forum Amethyst, Apple's next 2022 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will be equipped with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips and will be equipped with "very high-bandwidth high-speed memory."

The current 2021 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are equipped with Samsung LPDDR5 memory, M1 Pro chips provide memory bandwidth of up to 200GB / s, and M1 Max chips up to 400GB / s. On the basis of speculation, the new MacBook Pro model is likely to be equipped with Samsung's latest LPDDR5X memory, with a 33% increase in memory bandwidth and a 20% reduction in power consumption. This will make the memory bandwidth of M2 Pro reach 300GB / s and M2 Max reach 600GB / s.

Bloomberg Mark Gurman expects little change in the next-generation MacBook Pro model except for the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.
