Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, Oct. 25, with the release of iOS 16.1 and iPadOS 16.1, Apple is updating its App Store review guidelines for developers who create applications for iPhone and iPad.
Apple now requires apps to provide the App application audit team with full access to applications and to provide valid demo accounts or demo modes for applications that include account-based features. This change will make it easier for application reviewers to investigate all the parameters of the application.
The guide now prohibits any attempt to take advantage of or profit from "recent or current events, such as violent conflicts, terrorist attacks and epidemics". As the Matter smart home standard is now integrated into iOS, applications that support Matter must use Apple's Matter support framework to initiate pairing.
It is worth noting that this update prevents applications from using NFT to bypass in-application purchase rules. Apple guidelines say that applications can use in-application purchase systems to sell NFT and related services, but applications designed to allow users to view NFT cannot use NFT ownership as a mechanism to unlock features or functions within the application. Allows you to browse the application using NFT, but cannot include buttons, links, or other vocabularies used in the purchasing mechanism (except in-app purchases).
Apple said apps created only to allow advertisers to buy and manage cross-media ad campaigns do not need to use in-app purchases, while clarifying that digital purchases such as "boosts enhancements" in social media apps such as Facebook do need to use in-house features. The guide says:
"Advertising management applications: applications used only to allow advertisers (individuals or companies that promote products, services, or activities) to purchase and manage advertising activities across media types (television, outdoor, websites, applications, etc.) do not need to use in-app purchases. These applications are intended for event management purposes and do not display the advertisement itself. Digital purchases of content experienced or consumed in applications, including the purchase of advertisements to display in the same application (such as the "promotion" of selling posts in social media apps) must be purchased in-app. "
CTOnews.com was informed that the App Store Guide also prohibits the use of music from iTunes and Apple Music previews for entertainment value and allows applications to facilitate cryptocurrency transactions, as long as this functionality is only available in countries where the application has the appropriate license.
The complete App Store guide for Apple can be found on the Apple Developer website.
