1. Installation environment

1) Open the "ADSI" editor, if you are not connected to the schema partition, right-click the "ADSI" editor, in the pop-up shortcut menu, select the "Connect to" option to open the "connection Settings" dialog box. Select a known naming context option in the dialog box and select the schema option

2) Click the OK button to connect to the schema partition, and the expanded Exchange Server2019 information is displayed in the list on the right

Open the command line and type the following command.

Setup.exe / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms / PrepareAD / OrganizationName:MC

4. Domain preparation

Open the MSDOS command line and type the following command.

Setup.exe / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms / PrepareADomain:MC.com

After the command is executed, the installation process is as follows:

Exchange schema extension is a prerequisite for installing Exchange Server2019, and it must be carried out in the domain server where the "architecture host" role resides. Therefore, before expanding, you need to use the "Netdom query fsmo" command to determine the domain controller where the "schema host" role is located.
