CTOnews.com October 24 news, this morning, Sensor Tower released a report that in September 2022, mobile games players around the world paid $6.2 billion in App Store and Google Play, down 14% from a year earlier.

Of these, the United States remains the world's highest market in mobile gaming revenue, contributing $1.78 billion, accounting for 28.7 percent of global revenue. The Japanese market ranks second, accounting for 18.5%, while China's iOS market ranks third, accounting for 17.1%.

Specifically, in September 2022, Tencent "Arena of Valor" earned nearly $190 million in global App Store and Google Play, topping the global best-selling list of mobile games. Revenue from China's iOS market accounts for 94.5 per cent, while revenue from overseas markets accounts for 5.5 per cent. It should be noted that this data does not include third-party Android channels.

In addition, Mihayou Yuan Shen Mobile ranked No. 2 on the list with $130 million in revenue, with 43% of its revenue coming from its Chinese iOS market, while Japan accounted for 22.7% of its revenue.

CTOnews.com learned that the top five games on the list are Tencent "PUBG Mobile", King "Candy Crush Saga" and "Roblox".
