CTOnews.com, October 23 (Xinhua) at the end of 2012, all passenger trains in China purchased tickets on the Internet, according to data released by the official account "China Railway" Wechat.

So far, 12306 platform registered users have reached 680 million, making it the largest railway Internet ticketing system in the world, with a daily ticket sales capacity of more than 20 million. The proportion of regular Internet ticketing is about 85%, with a maximum of 90% a day.

At present, e-ticket has been fully implemented in China, and passengers holding identity cards can pass through more than 2800 high-speed rail and general railway stations across the country, benefiting more than 99% of railway travelers.

CTOnews.com learned that China Train 12306 App was launched in December 2013. Data show that China Train 12306's App has been downloaded and installed more than 1.7 billion times, the highest daily visits to the 12306 website (including mobile App) are as high as 2000 billion, the highest daily ticket sales are 15.413 million, and the annual maximum ticket sales are 3.57 billion.
