CTOnews.com, October 23, China Railway Group data show that by the end of September 2022, the mileage of railways in operation across the country had reached 153000 kilometers, including 41000 kilometers of high-speed railways, covering 99 percent of the country's cities with a population of more than 200000.

In addition, from 2012 to 2021, national fixed assets investment in railways totaled 7.7 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.3 trillion yuan over the previous decade.

CTOnews.com learned that the National Railway Group's financial final accounts data for the first half of the year showed that the national railway completed 285.3 billion yuan in fixed asset investment, 2.1% more than last year's progress plan, and put into production 2043.5 km of new lines, including 995.9 km of high-speed rail.

At present, the national railway has implemented the fourth quarter train diagram. After adjusting the map, there are 5286 pairs of passenger trains and 10829 pairs of freight trains.
