Nvidia said that if users have previous-generation GeForce RTX graphics cards or laptops, they can use DLSS 2 super resolution in every DLSS 3 game. DLSS Super Resolution is the new name for AI-driven DLSS 2 technology, which has accelerated performance for more than 216games and applications to date and is now part of DLSS 3.

CTOnews.com learned that DLSS 3 will be used in game engines including Unity, Unreal engine and Frost engine. In addition to the new DLSS 3 integration, DLSS 2 (DLSS Super Resolution) was added to more than a dozen new games in October.

Take Microsoft simulated Flight, for example, Asobo Studio and Microsoft introduced NVIDIA DLSS 3 to the game on October 17. DLSS 3 support will be released with the next update, which will be tested on October 17. In addition, the "F1 22" DLSS 3 update is coming soon. Sackcloth Adventure will be launched on the PC platform on October 27 to support DLSS 2.
