In the third quarter of this year, Great Wall Motor achieved a total revenue of 37.346 billion yuan, an increase of 29.36% over the same period last year, and a net profit of 2.557 billion yuan, an increase of 80.55% over the same period last year. From January to September this year, Great Wall Motor achieved a total operating income of 99.48 billion yuan, an increase of 9.56 percent over the same period last year, and a net profit of 8.149 billion yuan, an increase of 64.80 percent over the same period last year.

According to reports, in the first three quarters of 2022, the total investment in Great Wall automobile research and development reached 8.544 billion yuan, an increase of 64.74 percent over the same period last year, accounting for 8.59 percent of operating revenue.

CTOnews.com learned that Great Wall sold 802300 new cars in the first three quarters, of which 96900 new energy models were sold, up 14.31 per cent from a year earlier, and 111700 overseas, up 14.09 per cent from a year earlier.

In the first three quarters, the total investment in Great Wall Automobile R & D reached 8.544 billion yuan (capitalized R & D investment + expended R & D investment), an increase of 64.74% over the same period last year, accounting for 8.59% of business income, mainly used for R & D layout in high-tech fields such as new energy and intelligence.
