It is reported that the project achieved a leap from "0" to "1" in less than a year, and achieved mass production in August 2022, and the new honeycomb energy production line took only 2.5 months to climb to the SOP state.

At present, according to Xiaopeng's official website, the P5 offers four battery life options: 460km, 510km, 550km and 600km, of which the 550km is subdivided into three versions: 550G, 550e and 550p, with a price range of 193900 yuan to 225900 yuan.

CTOnews.com learned that Gu Hongdi, president of Xiaopeng Automobile, said publicly in September that Xiaopeng currently uses batteries from a number of battery suppliers in addition to Ningde era batteries. Xiaopeng has realized the diversified arrangement of batteries, and Ningde era is no longer Xiaopeng's largest supplier. It is reported that Xiaopeng cooperates with Yiwei LiNeng and Sinovel, and Xiaopeng also cooperates with Xin Wanda on the flagship model G9. After Honeycomb Energy supplies Xiaopeng P5, Xiaopeng's battery supplier will be added.
