CTOnews.com, October 20, according to TechPowerUP, Minisforum today unveiled new UM590 and UM690 mini-consoles, the former with AMD R9 5900HX and the latter with R9 6900HX. The UM690 will be the world's first mini PC with a USB4 interface and is expected to be launched later this month.

CTOnews.com learned that in July this year, Minisforum released the UM580 Mini mainframe overseas, which carries R7 5800H and supports USB-C one-line connection. Now, this mini mainframe has been put on the shelves JD.com, quasi-system configuration of 2799 yuan.

According to the official rendering, the new UM590 and UM690 mini-consoles seem to cancel the USB-C one-line design and use the traditional round-mouth power supply. Officials have previously mentioned that most USB-C monitors do not have a 100W reverse power supply and may be turned off at high loads.

JD.com is now online on the UM690 page, the quasi-system is priced at 3099 yuan, and is temporarily out of stock.
