Hi, I am the uncle Mr Zhao who prefers function formulas and likes to use Excel charts to manage warehouses.

When I picked up a big red apple on the table, a sweet smell swept into my heart and lungs. Can not help a bite down, but also so crisp.

I was wondering if I could make a percentage chart by changing the color of the apple from green to crimson.

So you have the following apple percentage chart. Doesn't it look good!

This percentage chart is suitable for showing completion rates and achievement rates so that you can track the progress of the project at any time.

If you are interested, please follow me to learn how to use Excel to make Apple red step by step.

Data preparation

First prepare a piece of data.

As shown in the following figure, enter a percentage data less than 1 in the A2 cell to represent the completion rate.

Insert column chart

❶ select any cell in the data area-open the insert tab-locate the column chart icon and click-select Cluster column Chart.

❷ right-click "Select data"-"add"-add a series with a series value of 1.

❸ click on the vertical axis, right-"format axis", switch to [axis options], change the "boundary" minimum value to 0, maximum value to 1.

The purpose of this is to prevent the axis range from changing automatically when the data is updated.

❹ select any series of charts, right-click-* * format data Series * *, set * * Series options * *-> * * Series overlap * * to 100%, and set * Gap width * * to 0%, so that the two column charts overlap horizontally without gaps.

❺ Select Chart-[right]-[Select data]-Select [completion rate] Series-adjust to the bottom of [Series 2] series, so that the column of [completion rate] is not obscured by [Series 2].

Draw a picture

❶ finds an Apple image from the Internet and puts it in Excel, and then selects the image-[Image format]-[Delete background].

❷ copies this image-[Image format]-[Color]-[recolor].

In this way, we have two red apples and green apples of the same size.

Copy and paste the picture to the chart

❶ uses the mouse to select the green apple picture-press the shortcut key [CTRL+C] to copy-then select the [Series 2] series in the chart-press the shortcut key [CTRL+V] to paste-set the fill format to cascading and zooming.

❷ similarly, select the red apple-press the shortcut key [CTRL+C] to copy-then select the [completion rate] series in the chart-press the shortcut key [CTRL+V] to paste-set the fill format to cascading and zooming.

❸ uses the [Delete] key to delete redundant content such as ordinate axes, Abscissa axes, chart titles, gridlines, and so on. The effect after deletion is shown in the following figure.

Copying and pasting a picture into a chart is one of the practical ways to make a working chart, which can quickly improve the appearance of the chart.

Analog data label

Insert a text box in the chart-click the text box, enter the equal sign in the edit bar, select the cell where the percentage is located with the mouse, and then enter.

Beautify the chart

Set the text box colorless, borderless, font, color, size, etc.

The final effect is shown in the following figure:

At this time, the Apple percentage chart is complete, isn't it very simple?
