The report shows that in the third quarter of 2022, the total production capacity of TCL Central reached 128GW, an increase of 45.45% over the beginning of the year and is expected to reach 140GW by the end of 2022.

According to the company, by the end of September, the first and second modules of Ningxia Phase 6 project have been fully put into production and are expected to reach production and increase the total production capacity from 50GW to 65-70GW by 2023.

On the product side, in early September, TCL Central released an update on the product price. combined with the current market, the price of 210W is much higher than that of 182products. At the wafer end of the "split-gold split", the large-size silicon wafer represented by 210 can reduce the cost of long crystal at the wafer end, dilute the cost of single W non-silicon in the downstream industry chain, such as batteries and components, and show more outstanding profitability. The new production capacity of TCL Central is all 210 advanced capacity, and according to CPIA statistics, with the evolution of the trend of large-size silicon wafers, the market share of 210mm silicon wafers is expected to reach 70% in 2030.

According to the announcement, the R & D investment in TCL Central in the first three quarters of 2022 was 2.7 billion yuan, accounting for 5.42% of the operating income, an increase of 52.7% over the same period last year, mainly for R & D in photovoltaic materials, photovoltaic cell modules and other fields.

In the first three quarters of 2022, TCL Central achieved a monthly output of 12% per unit. The consumption rate of silicon per unit product has further decreased; the frequency of wafer An in the wafer link has been increased by 4%; projects such as thinning and thinning have been promoted, and the number of kilograms of wafers ordered with the same wafer thickness has been increased by 6%.

The manufacturing advantage that TCL Central is proud of is the "Industrial 4.0" manufacturing model it has accumulated since 2015.

In terms of factory automation, TCL Central expects to gradually realize a "black light factory" in 2022.
